Even the grief rain, didn't wash your stain.
You have lost me, but with me you remain.
नींद का हल्का गुलाबी सा ख़ुमार आँखों में था
यूँ लगा जैसे वो शब को देर तक सोया नहीं
There was aftereffect, of sleep in eyes intact.
It so 'd react , night long awake did I remain.
हर तरफ़ दीवार-ओ-दर और उन में आँखों के हुजूम
कह सके जो दिल की हालत वो लब-ए-गोया नहीं
Doors 'n windows around,lots of eyes abound.
What in heart is found, talking lips don't contain.
जुर्म आदम ने किया और नस्ल-ए-आदम को सज़ा
काटता हूँ ज़िंदगी भर मैं ने जो बोया नहीं
Adam commited crime, offsprings suffer dime.
I reap in life prime, what in soil I didn't retain.
जानता हूँ एक ऐसे शख़्स को मैं भी 'मुनीर'
ग़म से पत्थर हो गया लेकिन कभी रोया नहीं
O 'Muneer' I also know, one man in the show.
Grief 'd just endow, to stone but tears contain.
