Ye shahar udaas, itna ziada to naheen tha..........
Though wine was not on, to everyone's call.
Yet this city, was not so sad after all......
Galiyon men phira karte the, do chaar diwaane.
Har shakHs ka sad-chaak, lebada to naheen tha......
Some lunatics used to roam around lanes.
But the tattered cloaks were not for all.......
Manzil ko n pahchaane, rah-e-ishq ka raahee.
Naadaan hi sahi, itna bhi saadaa to naheen thaa...........
A lover may not well recognize his goal.
A little innocent yes, not a fool at all...........
Thak kar yunhi, pal bhar ke liye aankh lagee thee.
Sokar hi n utthen, ye iraadaa to naheen tha..........
Feeling tired, I took a nap for a while.
The aim was not to keep sleeping O pal... ....
