सबा से करते हैं ग़ुर्बत नसीब ज़िक्र वतन। तो चश्मे सुबह में आँसू उभरने लगते हैं।
Those away from home, when they talk with breeze.
In the eyes of morning, dewy tears show zeal.
वो जब भी करते हैं इस लुत्फ़ो लब की बलियागरी।
फ़ज़ा में और भी नग़्मे बिखरने लगते हैं।
All around encompasses the music and songs.
Whenever voice is clamped and lips get a seal.
दरे क़फ़स पे अंधेरे की मुहर लगती है।
तो 'फ़ैज़' दिल में सितारे उभरने लगते हैं।
When darkness seals the door of prison.
O 'Faiz' in the heart, stars show their feel.
