I can't do what world wants from me.
Nothing in exchange of dream will be.
अब रात की दीवार को ढाना है ज़रूरी
ये काम मगर मुझ से अकेले नहीं होगा
Now it's essential to raze night wall.
But it can't be done alone by me.
ख़ुश-फ़हमी अभी तक थी यही कार-ए-जुनूँ में
जो मैं नहीं कर पाया, किसी से नहीं होगा
I had vain hopes in frenzy of work.
None else can, if it's not done by me
तदबीर नई सोच कोई, ऐ दिल-ए-सादा
माइल-ब-करम तुझ पे वो ऐसे नहीं होगा
Think a new scheme, O simple heart !
Kind to you this way, she will not be.
बे-नाम से इक ख़ौफ़ से दिल क्यूँ है परेशाँ
जब तय है कि कुछ वक़्त से पहले नहीं होगा
Why is heart upset by fear unknown.
As it's fixed, before time, nothing 'll be.
