मगर हमें तो वही एक शख़्स भाता है
He is faithless, always aches the heart.
But he is the only one I like from start.
न ख़ुश-गुमान हो इस पर तू ऐ दिल-ए-सादा
सभी को देख के वो शोख़ मुस्कुराता है
He is mischievous, smiles before all.
Don't misunderstand him O simple heart.
जगह जो दिल में नहीं है मिरे लिए न सही
मगर ये क्या कि भरी बज़्म से उठाता है
But why does he ask me to leave gathering .
It's O. K. if I have no place in
his heart.
तिरे करम की यही यादगार बाक़ी है
ये एक दाग़ जो इस दिल में जगमगाता है
Only memory of your favour that remains.
Is a scar that shines within
this heart.
अजीब चीज़ है ये वक़्त जिस को कहते हैं
कि आने पाता नहीं और बीत जाता है
It's is a strange thing known
as time.
Which gets over, before coming full part.
