चश्म-ए-नम आए थे दामन-तर चले।
In the meeting like a candle, I came.
Came wet eyed, left wet hemmed, tame.
अपने बंदे पे जो कुछ चाहो सो बेदाद करो।
यह न आ जाए कहीं जी में कि आज़ाद करो।
Torture this servant as much as you wish.
Let not thought of freeing me enter the wish.
वाक़िफ़ न याँ किसी से हम हैं न कोई हम से।
यानी कि आ गए हैं बहके हुए अदम से।
Neither I am acquainted with someone, nor someone with me.
From another world I lost my way and came here as you see.
